These are words that are so common that children should learn to quickly recognize them by sight, rather than ‘sounding them out’. These activities are great when you are introducing new words or when students need a reminder of the letters and patterns that make up each word. These worksheets help kids learn to recognize common words, also known as ‘sight words’.
